Before
This home near Como Lake was in need of a new look. The aluminum awning was a bit of an eye-sore as it had shown its years of abuse from ice and snow.

After
This finished product is much more inviting, and a lot less scary to walk under. I pre-built the trusses and anchored them to the house. I took the extra time and effort to make sure that the roof flashing goes up behind the stucco. All in all it was a fairly quick and inexpensive project that greatly helped with the curb appeal of the house.

The underside of the awning is now aluminum soffit and houses a couple of can lights near the entry.
