Marvin Windows

The addition on the back of this home had older casement windows that made the room feel like a 3-season porch more than the informal dining room that it is. The homeowners wanted to match the other windows in the home that had been installed during a past remodel. These windows are a high-quality Marvin with true grids (not the snap-in type) that I ordered through Shaw/Stewart Lumber Co. By going with double hung windows along with the grids, it really makes the room feel warmer and more connected with the rest of the home. I also did a single double hung window over the kitchen sink at the same time.
