I was born and raised on a farm in Northwest Minnesota, but have lived in St. Paul for the last 13 years. I currently live in St. Paul’s Northend Community near Lake Como. With my free time I enjoy rock climbing, mountaineering, and being with my family.
Como Lake Carpentry is now in its 5th year of operation. Business has steadily grown since I formed my company, and I see new ways to grow every day. This last summer we expanded by hiring Dawson as carpenter and exteriors expert.
Environmental Responsibility: I will make accommodations for any customer who prefers to strictly use green products on their project, but since it usually increases the cost it may not be as essential to every customer. However, in all situations I do feel a responsibility to be a good steward of the earth. I try to do this through the little things, like bringing all cardboard and metal scraps to the recycling center instead of throwing them in the dumpster. I believe it is often the little things that go a long way.
Another thing that I enjoy is saving materials that can be reused.
